Improved customer and vehicle management functionalities to streamline your subscription operations

We are excited to announce our latest round of improvements to our customer and vehicle management features that will streamline your car subscription operations.

Flagging customers to help keep your team across important information

No matter how big or small your car subscription service is, maintaining oversight over customer information for all team members is crucial.

Loopit currently enables this by providing status overviews and subscription audit logs that track everything that has been added, removed and updated on each subscription, including any custom notes added.

However to help businesses gain more control over their customer management, Loopit is introducing the ability to flag customers to prevent them from subscribing elsewhere in the Loopit network.

Businesses may want to flag certain subscribers due to a range of reasons including:

  • significant outstanding balance
  • serious breach of agreement
  • dangerous or aggressive driving

To perform this function, head over to the subscriber's profile under the Customers tab and toggle the Actions menu. Here, you can choose to 'Ban Customer' where you will be required to select the reason and a brief description for the ban.

Once completed, the status will be reflected on your Customers tab. Banned customers will now be unable to subscribe with any other provider on the Loopit network.

Direct order of vehicle telematic devices

As demand for your car subscription service increases, it is important that you maintain appropriate levels of inventory to acquire these new customers to avoid losing share to other competing car subscription providers. To ensure your vehicles are ready for subscription, vehicle procurement and preparation processes must be streamlined. Part of this process involves ordering and installing vehicle telematics devices to assist with your usage billing.

Loopit understands that ordering vehicle telematic devices through external parties can lead to bottlenecks in your vehicle preparation due to factors such as shipping delays. As such, we're excited to inform customers can now order vehicle telematic devices directly through their Loopit account - helping them scale their fleet as required.

Note that this feature is only available for customers currently using Telemax as their vehicle telematics device.
