You now have better control over when your locations can accept new bookings.
With Location Blackout Periods, you can temporarily close a location for a specific date range — such as public holidays, shutdowns, staff training, or inventory checks — and those dates will automatically be blocked on your customer-facing booking page.
Customers will not be able to select those dates for pickup or return, helping you avoid bookings when there’s no team or facility available.
Blackout Periods work on a per-location basis, giving you the flexibility to close certain branches while keeping others open.
Loopit will continue to allow operators to override these closures internally if needed, ensuring operational flexibility. Blackout periods also do not affect reporting or utilisation data, so your fleet performance won’t be impacted.
This gives you more control over your customer booking experience — without restricting your internal operations.
