We’ve improved how bookings can be ended in Loopit to better align with real-world vehicle returns and operational changes.
You can now backdate end dates further than the current billing period — up to 30 days or back to the original start date (whichever comes first). This provides greater flexibility when a vehicle is returned early, or when booking records need to be corrected after the fact.
Loopit will still automatically calculate pro-rata credits for unused days within the current billing cycle. But if the selected end date falls before the current billing period, the system will now:
This ensures the platform does not assume billing outcomes for past periods, giving operators full control over how credits or refunds are handled.
These updates help keep booking records accurate, while supporting the operational reality that returns don’t always happen on schedule.
